Hi,

I have two systems running XP. Both have Fax installed but only of them has
a modem. Is it possible for the system without modem to send and receive
faxes thro the other system?

Thanks
Ramesh

Thanks Carey.

If I provide modems on both PCs, can i use one modem as the common
receiving line and sending be done using the local modems? In other words,
can the inbox be shared by 2 PCs?

Thanks
Ramesh

No, there is no routing/integration in the Fax service to accomplish this.
The closest you can come is making the Fax Inbox assessable to all parties.
Alternatively, there are some third party systems that can help:

http://fax4outlook.4team.biz/
Fax4Office (Former name: Fax4Outlook) version 2.60.0257
Send and receive fax messages like regular Microsoft® Outlook® letters.
