Fax Service Problem

I'm using XP Pro SP1. My problem is this: I want to be able to change
settings (such as answer automatically or manually) from any account. In the
Fax Service, I set it up to run from an account that has administrator
privileges. However, I still can't change the settings when I'm logged in
with a non-admin account. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

Correct. Changes may only be made via an account with Admin rights.

Even if I've set it up in the settings for the fax service to run with an
admin account?

Yep - it's an Admin only privilege. Though, now I think about it, you maybe
able to do it if you confer Power User rights on that account. See help for
details.

I tried it with Power User, and it didn't work. Oh, well...it's a home
network (just my wife and I), so it isn't a crisis. Either run an admin
account or go with "Run As...". Thanks for the help, though!

You're welcome, Mike - sorry I couldn't be of more use!

Blessed Be
