Is there a fax server add-in or function for W2000server? Or do you have to
go to small business or exchange to get that capability? If it is not
available does anyone have any recommendations for a third party app?

Hi Jerry;

Thanks for the response, but this isn't what I was looking for.

The W2000 Fax Service isn't really practical for multiple users. The Small
Business & (I believe) Exchange Servers allow the user to do the cover
sheet, sending, etc from the workstation and send the fax out using the
server's modem. The Fax server monitors, routes and notifies the correct
recipient instead of the faxes having to be delivered into a public folder.
Pretty much the same way a print server would keep track of different users
using the same networked printer, except it is almost like a networked fax
machine

My company uses a RightFax server with 5 outgoing lines on
faxboard loaded on Win 2000 Member server, each user has
their own ID, incoming faxes are routed to exchange
server -> their Outlook client, and every user can fax
directly from within any program specifying Rightfax
Printer.

Works like a charm.
