Fax sending error

Hi, when I create a fax and try to send it, it just sits
in the "Printers and Faxes" as 2 documents, but does not
appear in the fax console, it also does not get sent.

Please help.

Do you have an analogue fax modem - is it correctly configured and connected
to a standard phone line?
 
I have an ISDN modem which connects to an ISP with no
problems. The faxing was working before a system crash,
so there are no hardware issues. System restore gives no
further results.
