Fax #'s

Good Morning,
I use Outlook 2007, and every time I add a fax number to a contact within
Outlook it seems to create a 2nd contact… Why is this?
 
Describe more clearly what you're seeing that makes you thinks this is true.
Any electronic address you add in Outlook will create a separate address in
the address book view. Normal behavior. Is that all you're seeing?
