Fax Quit Sending

The Windows XP Prof fax has been working great until
today. I received a fax during the day and it did not go
to the printer as it was set up to do and has always done
in the past. Now when creating cover sheet for outgoing
fax, it will not display. Sometimes get a message "unable
to preview fax", other times the viewer opens but is
blank. When clicking on finish in the fax wizard, nothing
happens. The fax wizzard dialog disappears as does the
fax. I can preview a fax as long as i don't do a cover
sheet. This has worked flawlesly for many months, until
today. I have removed and reinstalled the fax software,
but to no avail. Any ideas . . . Thanks.
 
Is the main problem with being able to send outgoing faxes with cover pages?
Do your outgoing faxes go through fine if you don't attach a cover page?
If there is a problem with your cover page viewer, you should check if the
Microsoft Picture and Fax viewer is the associated program with .tiff files.
You can do so using Tools->Folder Options->File Types in the explorer.
Check the Opens With program for .tiff Files and set it to Microsoft Picture
and Fax viewer.
