Fax Problems...

I used to be able to fax from my computer. After I moved, however, I have not been able to fax since. It has been over a year and I still cannot get it working. I always get a message stating "fax device error". I would appreciate any input.

You need a filter from your phone company if your DSL is piggy backed on
your voice line..

Or an anlog phone line with an anolog mode connected to your computer..

Adding a bit to Victor's reply, sending a fax by DSL requires one of two
methods:

1. You obtain a DSL line filter suitable for connecting a standard voice
telephone to the DSL line, then connect a regular analog fax modem to the
line through the line filter. Your DSL provider has these filters, as does
your local Radio Shack store:
