fax problem

have been using the fax.....no problems...then all at
once i can't get the fax monitor to work.....wondering if
there is someone that can help me figures this out.....

Apply SP1 to Windows XP.

I have the same problem, and got the same
answer.....apply SP1, and I did that, same problem. Just
like buying a car with A/C, it has the button but it DOES
NOT work. Then they always suggest buying third party
software. Why should I have to, XP fax should work!

Where did I suggest buying third party software? SP1 has fixed every known
reproducible cause of this problem. That doesn't mean there won't be others.
If you have one, list the precise steps to reproduce so the problem. Until
the problem can be reproduced, the search for a cure cannot even begin.
