fax problem/how to use the recovery disc

some components inside the fax service are damaged by
virus , i have the oem recovery disc, can somesone tell
me how i can use the recovery disc to replace the
infected files?thank you
 
Go to Add And Remove Programs / Add And Remove Window Components . Remove
Fax then reinstall . Jym

Is it s Full Retail CD. Or a Vendor supplied Recovcery CD? Because, you
can't use a Recovery CD to replace corrupted files. They will only
restore your computer back to it's original condition as you got it from
the vendor. In other words, You will lose everything you've installed or
saved since bringing it home.
