Help! I can't seem to get my printer working. Unistalled, reinstalled, won't even print test page. Shows that I have several documents pending, just won't print. Thanx in advance

Have you checked the manufacturer's website for the latest XP drivers for
your printer?

Yes, just downloaded the newest driver, will print regular documents, but not my fax documents. Just puts them in queue, and won't print. Thanks for the update info.

How are you attempting to print the fax documents? I assume you have a
reader for the fax documents and it has a print command? Conversely, if you
are using the fax printer to print the fax documents, that is not its
purpose. The fax printer formats a document for sending a fax and will
queue the documents for sending.

The fax I'm using is "Fax tools" from BVRP that came with my Lexmark all in one printer. The fax is connected to my COM3 port with a seperate phone line, and my printer is on my usb port. I'm not able to figure out how to connect the two so that It prints automatically when the fax comes through.

That would be a software setting.
You'll need to consult your owners manual or Lexmark to learn how to
configure it.

Well, first you have to determine if that function is supported. You should
have a manual that might have the information. Other than that, I can only
suggest you contact their tech support. This is not an XP issue, it is
related to the functionality of your printer and that information needs to
be provided by the manufacturer.
