Fax printer problems

When I open Fax Console, the fax printer icon on the bottom bar has a red
hour glass and says "Refreshing". If I drag my pointer up into the activity
box it also has an hour glass. When I open fax printer status, it says "Local
Connecting....". It sounds like my hard drive is working and somtimes I get
an "Out Of Memory, Increasing Memory" message. I have a Zoom V92 Fax Modem
and I am using the latest V812MOH driver (unsigned). Wehn I remove the local
fax printer I do not get the hour glass, refreshing problem. When I installed
XP should I have used the Fat 32 file system instead of NTFS? I can not run
old dos games and some other older Windows programs.

You should probably check and if required increase the free hard disk size
in your windows system partition.

Also check the fax archive at <systemdrive:>\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax, if there are lots of fax
kept in the archive you could move them to some other location.
