fax HP2210

What in the blazes am I doing wrong ? Just love my NEW HPsc2210 and
I've figured everything out ..except the fax thing. I've tried
everything I can think of. Can anyone walk me thru it in LAYMEN'S
terms.. like.. step 1-press the FAX key,enter step 2-press etc etc ..
and a stupid question ..but I use the 101335 as my LD carrier so a phone
# is entered as 101335 1 241 444 4444 (without the
spaces) is that OK ? I haven't been able to receive any either ...
I have cked my modem cord. it's fine.. and I do not have an external or
internal modem on my PC ..I've got cable modem.
Please give me a clue ..I'm so tired of trying to
figure this out ..and I

amend that note .. to .. I CAN receive a fax locally .. but it the LD
FAX that I can't send -----or receive .... at least the problem is
narrowed down a little
any ideas why I can't send/receive outta my area ?
