I've just received a 10 page fax but instead of file
format as tif it came through with ti$. I opened the fax
in imaginging but it only shows one page? How can I view
the other pages? What is this file format and why is it
not the normal format?
Please help.. Urgent

sounds to me like the fax received got cut off prematurely. Windows usually
creates a temporary file while a file is being received/edited and this
temporary file usually has file extensions like do$, xl$ ..etc.... If you
close the app correctly, the temp file is then renamed/copied to the correct
file and the temp file is deleted. But if the app doesn't close correctly
(for example, your PC crashes, power cut..etc..) , you will have a temp file
created with a funny file extension. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. The transmission did complete but
it seems it just got corrupted somewhere along the way.
They resent the fax and it came in ok the second time.
Thanks..
Gina
