Fax Console Button Not Working

Help please.

Trying to use faxing for XP pro. When I press the NEW fax button on the fax
console, I get the error mesage below:

"The system cannot find the file specified.
(2, 0500001665)".

Have re-installed the fax component and it still doesn't work.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Frustrated.
 
Start with how you reinstalled and what happened at every step. Verify your
analog fax modem is on the Windows XP HCL list.
