Fax configures on every boot

Each time I reboot , XP tries to install and configure fax services. I have
removed it from the windows components list in the add/remove function, but
Windows installer still tries to find the fax.msi file and asks for a disk.
Any ideas?

kcmbs: Did you get a response for a fix to your issue you described? We have
the same issue and tried all different types of approaches.
