Fax a document directly from computer

I have an all in one printer/fax/scanner/copier attached to my computer thru
USB.Is it possible that instead of first printing the document, I can fax it
directly from my computer?
 
Probably. Have you tried asking the manufacturer of your device? This is not
a Windows XP question.
