Favorites

Gimpy

Use to be I'd add something to favorites list it would go to the bottom
of the list & then I could move it up to where I wanted it. Now all of a
sudden I move a new entry up & when favorites is closed & opened again
the new entry ends up back at the bottom of my list & wont stay where I
put it... Any ideas ??? TIA Gimpy
 
Are you working in Favorites window (opened by clicking on Favorites button
in IE toolbar) or Favorites dropdown menu (opened by clicking on Favorites
in topmost toolbar)?

Sorry Im using favorites button not the top drop down menu. Also 98se &
ie-6 if it makes a difference...

Opps sorry tried it again & the url now moves where I want it & for
the moment seems to stay put.? Havent shut down puter & dont know if
that will make a diff ernce or not ? Its still out of place in the
other menu by the way ??

If you have more that 193 favorites in a list they may not sort in the order
you want. Move them into subfolders with less that 193 favorites in each
supfolder:

Favorites May Not Sort in Alphabetical Order:

This no dought is the problem Frank. However those "dummy" books were
written for me, so just how do I move some to a sub folder & then how do
I access that folder ??? Thanks Gimpy
