Hi

Everytime I open IE my search button seems to always be pressed. It other words, the left search frame is always opened. It is almost like IE lost it's ability to "remember"!

Run MSCONFIG from the start/Run applet.
Under the Startup tab anything started that you hare not aware of?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
