Depends on the PC. Under Win9x yes, because favorites for all users are
under 1 area. Under 2000/XP/2003 Server, it is possible, but the person
would have to have access to your user directory (possibly Administrator
rights) c:\Documents and Settings\<username>.

I have wondered what is the mechanism used in web pages
where they offer a link to (e.g.) "bookmark this page".
If it is just a script what would prevent unscrupulous sites
from just executing what that script is instead of making you
click on a button?
