To put your Internet Explorer 6.0 Favorites in
alphabetical order, follow these steps:
Start Internet Explorer.
Click Favorites, and then select a single Favorites icon
from the list.
Right-click the icon, and then click Sort by Name.
Problem is, this does not work. Right-clicking on either
a single favorite or on the Favorites icon at the top of
the web page does not give you a sort option. Also, even
thought you downloaded IE6 free from the Microsoft site,
they do not support the product. I attempted to ask the
same question about the sort feature and was first
directed to register as a .NET user. After going through
the registration process, Microsoft then said free support
was not available for this product, but I could ask them
for a $35.00 fee.
