favorites

i need to share a favorites folder, not all of my
favorites with the rest of the computers in the network,
like \favorites\shared favorites\....

What stops you? Share it like any other directory tree....

net share MyFavs="D:\Documents and Settings\User\Favorites"

....or use the GUI (Explorer or Computer Management)

If you want to restrict SUBDIRECTORIES you cannot 'unshare' them
but you can put permissions on them to prevent their use.
 
Just create a share exactly on the folder that you want to share. That's all there is to it.
