I have an XP Pro desktop and an XP-Home laptop. I used Windows explorer to
copy the entire desktop favorites folder under C:\Documents and Settings\Name
to a removable drive. I then copied it to the same location on the laptop.
The laptop continues to show its old favorites, and not the files copied from
the desktop. Where do I copy the favorites on the laptop?

I noticed the favorites folder on the laptop was empty when I began.

Thanks

On the desktop use File | Import and Export to export the favorites. Then,
on the laptop, use File | Import and Export to import the favorites.

In the laptop, login to your userprofile and type "Favorites" in Start/Run. Copy the shortcuts from removable media to the favorites folder.
