Favorites problem

Suddenly I have the problem of not being able to add or
delete from my favorites list. Example:I get the
message:"Unable to create so & so. Access denied."
Iam running xp home and Internet Explorer v 6.0.2800.
Any one out there have a solution?

Look at the properties of the Favorite folder(s).
Could the Read only attribute be set?

I discovered my own mistake.

I had dragged favorites to a shared folder for my network.
Later I turned sharing off for the shared folder and
forgot to return favorites to it's original place.
I fixed it by turning sharing on for the shared doc
folder and theb dragging favorites back to it's original
place.
