Couple weeks back, a computer whiz put a new hard drive in
our system - and installed everything so that adults have
a sign in and the kids have a seperate sign in with
restricted access, especially with installing programs and
on the internet. One thing I would like changed though - I
can create and add to my favorites menu on my sign in, but
on the kids sign in they cannot. I would like them to at
least have the ability to create a favorites menu. Can
anyone help me with how to go about fixing this ????

If this was set in there account then you cannot add favorites.

How to Create a Text File of Web Addresses in Favorites Folder
This article describes how to create a text file that contains a list of the
Web addresses of the Internet shortcuts in your Internet Explorer Favorites
folder.

The principle would be for you to create a folder in your favorites, name if
MY_KidsFav
go the the sites that are authorized and add them to your new folder.

Then try the fix in artible 183436.

You could also make a .htm or html file with all the sites listed, and make
that their Home Page. So all they will have to do is click the Home page
button then select the sites they wish to visit.

If you need help with that let me know.
