Could you explain more extensively what you mean? Do you mean that a
entry in the Favorites list named for example "This Site" which formerly
contained a URL like
www.ThisSite.com is now pointing to
www.SomeOtherSite.net?
If that's the case, you have a serious problem, and I'd be concerned about
the integrity of the entire file system.
Each entry on the Favorites list is simply the name of a file in the
Favorites folder or some subfolder of that folder. Where you see "This
Site", there's actually a file named "This site.url". (The extension is
suppressed when the filename is displayed.) You can change the display by
going into the appropriate folder and renaming the file. Obviously
correcting the names of a lot of such files is going to be very tedious
and time-consuming.
More significantly, if those filenames got switched around you have to
wonder what else may have been damaged.
