Favorites listing is double spaced

The Favorites listing is double-spaced in both the Start
Menu and in IE making a very long list. I don't know what
caused it but can anyone help me to get it back to single-
spaced?
 
Try the following (not tested myself)
go to the favorites at the start menu and look for the address by clicking a link with right mouse button and <explorer>
note the address, e.g. hold the explorer window at the task bar
open the start menu and use right mouse buttom for customizing, deaktivate the Favorites
go to the favorites at the IE and look for the address by clicking a link with right mouse button and <explorer>
note the address, e.g. hold the explorer window at the task bar
copy a link from the IE favorites file to a start menu folder
The link will appear within the start menu and will lead to the IE favorites.
 
Thanks for the suggestion but I used the "File & Settings
Wizard" and transfered the IE settings from another
computer that was properly spaced and it worked so my
Favorites listing is now single-spaced. Once again,
