Favorites - Link Folder - How to disable?

I don't use the Favorites Links Folder. Whenever I delete it, it comes back again? Something like re-incarnation.
How do I permanently do the sucker in? Suggestions appreciated.

Right click on Your start button and choose properties. then click the customize button. under the advanced tab, uncheck the favorites box. click apply and ok, and it should be gone.
