Favorites in Internet Explorer

Is there a folder somewhere on my computer where I can go
and edit my Favorites in Internet Explorer?

I am using a Dell desktop which came pre-loaded with
Windows XP Home. I haven't changed a thing in
the "factory pre-installed" settings.

Somehow, my Favorites drop-down menu has self-grown to
over 100 "favorites," even though I haven't put any of
them there!

Thank you. Sorry if this has been asked before but I am a
first timer to this newsgroup.

Some web sites will add to your favorites if your not
careful, right click on the ones you don't want and select
delete! And/or create a folder and group similar sites
together by catagory ie:Gardning,computer downloads,news
links and the like, and then drag and drop into each
catagory.

Right-click Start, explore all users. You'll find Favorites under
documents and settings\yourname.

Hi,

Which OS are you using ? Try doing a search for "favorites" and you
will see the folder. You can change anything in this folder. If it is
Windows 98/ME it is in windows folder if it is windows 2000/XP it is
in documents and settings/user/ folder.
