I am trying to export FAVORITES from my desktop to my laptop. Both have IE
6.0.

I can't make it work via the FILE/IMPORT/EXPORT wizard.

Are there any clues or documents on the WEB that can help me?

The contents of the Favorites folder can be copied to a disk and pasted to
your laptop. You could burn them to a CD or copy them to a floppy or zip
disk.

Thanks for the reply....

I tried this but did not seem to do it right.

Where is the FAVORITES folder located that IE uses on my desktop and where
to I copy it on the laptop?

Where the folder is depends on your operating system and installation.
Right-click a favorite, select Properties and look on the General tab.
Just copy the contents (not the favorites folder itself) if you are
going to use this method.
Copy to the Favorites folder on the laptop, finding the folder used as
above.
(It may not have the same path)
