I have developed many favorites in IE and now I wonder how I can save
them/backing up.

Hi,
To back up your Favorites.

Go to your C:\Documents and Settings\NAMEOFUSERACCOUNT\Favourites\
and then copy your Favourites directory to another location of your hard
drive or save it on a disk or burn it on a cd.

Please note C:\ is the name of the drive of where you installed your Windows
XP and the "NAMEOFUSERACCOUNT" is whatever your useraccount name is so
substitute your account name to get to your Favourites directory.

or
another way to backup your Favorites is to open up Internet Explorer, then
click on File -> Import/Export.
Then choose the Export Favorites action.
And then you can choose to save the file to a location of your hard drive.
Save the file, and then to restore the Favorites on another computer or
elsewhere just open up Internet Explorer again, then go to File ->
Import/Export, then choose the Import Favorties action.

Dannie,

Your favorites are stored in the C:\Documents and Settings\<user
name>\Favorites folder.
You can back them up from there.

Best regards,

Ben

Ignore the other replies - in IE go to File-Import/Export and just export
your favorites to a file of your name and location!

Easy!
