That depends on your operating system.
In Win9x/Me it is usually C:\Windows\Favorites but can vary.
Favorites location in Windows XP if installed on C:
C:\Documents and Settings\logon_name\Favorites
You can also find the location by right-clicking a favorite, selecting
Properties and the General tab.
Why not just search for the Favorites folder?

My HDD died and as I thought this was one of the folders
lost. Was able to retrieve all the saved games and my
documents and quicken data.
Only took 3 days
