Anyone know how to automatically reorganize
the favs listings so they are in alphabeticle order?
I just tried by burning them onto a CDROM,
then deleting them from windows and restarting
and copying and pasting them back. They do not
"become" alphabetical.

No worky! WANT worky!

This has always worked using floppy discs but
my favs folder is (strangely):

2,051 files, 58 folders:
Size: 355 KB
Size on disc: 8.01 MB
Size on CDROM: 4.55 MB

I don't know which size is correct but it is far
too much for a floppy disc, what do I do that
would be automatic? WinXP sr1a.

Thanks all,

Alex

In Favorites, select one in the list, right-click, then "sort by name"
Hope this helps - LEN

If you want to have your "Favorites" in alphabetic order you can remove
a long binary value "Order" located in registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder\Favorites
To keep "Favorites" always in alphabetic order you can remove that value
automatically at every system startup (scripts).
