I just bought a new drive, and I'm going to wipe the older one. How do I
transfer my Favorites to the new drive? Where is the folder that the
favorites are stored?

The folder is called Favorites and where it is depends on your
installation. You can see the location if you right-click a favorite,
select Properties and look at the General tab.

However, there is an inbuilt method you could use.
IE-File-Export and create a single HTML file to use later with
IE-File-Import.

You can do it a couple of ways. You can copy the folder C:\Documents and
Settings\Your User Name\Favorites - if your system drive is other than C: -
substitute it at the beginning of the string.
You can open IE - flick on File - Import and Export - follow the prompts and
export your Favorites to a floppy and then copy them over to the new drive.
You can do the same with cookies in the event you have web sites you want to
keep the customization for.
