I think I have the P_Graphics page organized. I would appreciate it if
people would take a look:

Are *your* favorite Graphics apps listed?
Are they in the right subcategory?
Are there no install programs that *aren't* labeled n.i.?
Is there LFW (last freeware) info that *isn't* listed?
Any other missing/ incorrect information that you have at your fingertips?

How does the organization look? Is it easy to find things? Suggestions
for improvement? I listed a webcam program here - should it be in
Multi-Media?

TIA :)

Thanks Poko :)

ISTM that the Program Information web pages are now a permanent part of
the Pricelessware site. I've requested yeas and nays. There have been no
objections.

I anticipate bringing the same pages forward from year to year. Once
this intial phase is done review and revision will be an ongoing process
-> "whenever the fit takes us". :)

| Any other missing/ incorrect information that you have at your fingertips?

"1.20 ImageForge" freeware editor, the author is "CursorArts Company"
and the direct web page now seems to be
http://www.cursorarts.com/ca_imffw.html instead of the one listed.

"1.30 TurboCAD" the turbocad.com link directs to IMSI's main site,
which does not seem to list any information or download for the free
version. Great program, but I'm wondering if there is a better place
to go for a free version. The link I had is no longer active, and
CoMa's link goes to a signup for a vertical marketing site :-(

| How does the organization look? Is it easy to find things? Suggestions
| for improvement?

Just links at top to jump to the categories.

| I listed a webcam program here - should it be in Multi-Media?

Yes, that is where I'd put it.

This will be going onto my "favorites" bar, since I'm not too good at
remembering where I saw this or that graphic freeware!

Thanks, the pages also have ActivIcons by the same company. I just
changed the URLs for both to:

http://www.cursorarts.com

That's not the most direct link but it *will* get you there. Page links
change fairly frequently and may become outdated. IMO home page links
are preferable in the Program Information pages *if* it's possible to go
from there to the freeware pages (that's pretty easy in this case).

the link should have been (it's been updated):

http://nct.digitalriver.com/fulfill/0002.16

Registerware: name; address; phone; email

FYI - a search of the ACF archives gives you direct download links
(repeated here):

Program: http://wcarchive.cdrom.com/pub/bws/bws_52/TCAD_LE_setup_files.exe
Manual: http://wcarchive.cdrom.com/pub/bws/bws_52/TCAD_LE_doc_files.exe
Quicktour:
http://wcarchive.cdrom.com/pub/bws/bws_52/TCAD_LE_quicktour_files.exe

I tested the first one and it seems to be working.

Just links at top to jump to the categories.

Unfortunately that's not very doable. The subcategories are still
changing on a daily basis. One way to jump *fairly* easily is to open
the Category Index page. Copy a subcategory from the Category Index page
and use *find* in the other page to go directly to the subcategory. (You
could do the same thing with the Program Index page to jump to programs
by name.)

Yes, that is where I'd put it.

I think you're right. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Glad to hear you find the page useful. :)

I do use Beauty for building pages. The only problem is it has no Help file

Hi Peter,

If you mean MAX's HTML Beauty++ 2004 that's listed on the Web Design page.

AnmanieSMP 2.4 - a warping tool, pretty limited
http://www.foto-freeware.de/anmaniesmp.php

already listed - home page is: http://www.anmanie.de/ (which seems to be
under construction at the moment)
BitMorph - morphs one picture into another, also limited
http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Graph
ics_Editors/BitMorph.html

already listed - REMbranded's site has it (last freeware version):

http://woundedmoon.org/win32_freeware.html
Gloodle - a fun little doodling ap: "doodle with globs"
http://www.wondertouch.com/gloodle/gloodle.asp

NEW to me - looks like fun - and has an install and a NO INSTALL version :)

<q>
Gloodle is "doodle with globs" -- drawing using 3D shapes to create 2D
images with a lot of richness, complexity, and depth.

I guess it's similar (but on a much, much smaller scale) to ZBrush, but
my intent was never to make a tool, just something fun to play around
with.
</q>

(5941 KB)
Nothing huge here, just some fun little graphics progs.

Thank you! :)

installed it.
