I used to have FavOrg on my old PC and it worked like a dream. Now I
have a new laptop running WinXP Home with SP2. I've also got a firewall
from ZoneAlarm (zonealarm.com) and Prevx anti-spyware software
(www.prevx.com) running in the background alongside Norton Anti-Virus.
Although I can download FO when I run it it fails to find any favicons
at all. Is this because the firewall is on? I tried running it without
the firewall and with prevx suspended as well, but it still failed to
work (ie it ran, but when I clicked Go it dind't find any favicons).
Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks,
R.

I have used ZoneAlarm but don't anymore...much preferring Sygate.

Prevx I used and removed as being more annoying than any trojan could
ever possibly be. It continually tried to phone home, popped up every
dang time anything ever moved.

It's just as bad as no security at all...maybe worse. If you cry
"wolf" too much nobody knows when to trust you. Prevx cries "wolf"
non-stop.
