Need advice on how to prevent the favicon.ico and a link to
a subweb from appearing the the contents list.

favicon sits at the index.html level but other files eg .gif
which are also there do not appear.

www.ranger.org.au/links.htm

forum/index.php - top right hand column

also appears, the link is legit but I would like to refine
how it appears eg forum

Other links on the same page do not appear in the contents,
which is fine but why not?

Is there and option to disregard certain file extensions? I
am +ive it is something simple?

thanks

Geoff

This is the limiation of using the TOC .. your better off using a free
sitemapper and having control over your links instead... xenu has a
sitemapper and its free.

To prevent links from showing in the fp TOC you should use a _ underscore in
the file name ie
_favicon.ico (don't know if the favicon will still work if you do that I've
never tried it .. check it out)

When your making your own links link like this

It's a dim memory but I don't think you can have that control with the TOC

though there is this addon http://kissfp.com/menuplus/

This is because you have not told FP to repoint files .. go to Tools -
Recalculate Hyperlinks .. say yes when asked.
