fault in user.exe

I keep getting an error message, something like "iexplr
has caused an error in user.exe. If this problem persists,
try restarting your computer." Does anyone know why this
keeps happening, and more importantly, how do I fix this.
I am running WindowsME.

Select IExplorer on this page for some clues, it's possibly caused by a
parasite.
