Fatal Error for new game

I bought Lost Planet Extreme Condition Colonies Edition and I installed it.
That worked out ok. But then I wanted to play so I went to the top menu and
clicked on Play Lost Planet for Directx 9. But it said Fatal
Error:ERR06:Unsupported pixel shader version detected.2.0

What do I do?

Basically the game is saying your video card does not support Pixel
Shading v2.0.

Pixel Shading is just what it says, your video card looks at groups of
pixels and applies shading to make them look more "lifelike", it's how
games add like fur to animals in realtime.

What do you do?

Depends. You may need a new video card (if this isn't a notebook), or you
may just need an updated video card driver (free download, woot!).

What kind of computer do you have? What make? Model?

If you know what kind of video card you have, respond with that
information as well. Usually a computer has an nVidia, ATi, or Intel
video card.

You may need to check with Capcom to see if your card is supported.

Respond here with your computer info and i'll give you some options.
 
hey Joe, I have a Hp Laptop, with a ATI video card- Radeon Xpress200M, I
downloaded Devil May Cry 4 and got this faal error message. what can I do to
resolve this matter if its possible?.. all of the other requirments are met
for my computer.
