Every time I reboot the file "FAT32" and all it's folders
show up on my desktop. How can I eliminate this and just
have desktop show up on start-up??

There is no such thing as a 'FAT32' folder. FAT32 is a file system, not a
folder - I am going to assume you meant 'System 32'. Follow the instructions
available here http://tinyurl.com/m641.

Does this apply to other folders? I have one for a piece of software
that opens everytime I boot Windows. While not a problem, it's just a
bit annoying.
