I'm currently using 98SE but I need to convert file
structure to NFST for video capture. I was told that I
could install XP Home to get NFST support. One source
said I would have to reformat my disks. Another said I
wouldn't have to reformat them saving me from having to
reinstall all of my SW. Who's right? Reformat or not?
That is the question...

Windows 98 cannot run on a NTFS drive. You can either
upgrade to XP Home, then perform a FAT32 to NTFS
conversion, or perform a "clean install" and format your
drive NTFS before installing Windows XP.
