Fastest Single Slot ATI PCI-Express?

Just wondering what the fastest single slot ATI PCI-Express card is? All of
the XT1900's of any flavor seem to be the dual slot due to the cooler. I run
a small form factor PC and it can only accommodate a single slot video card.

I believe that the fastest single slot ATi PCI-e card is the X1800XT
clocked at 625/1500 as opposed to the slower X1800XL which is clocked
at 500/1000.

Slower being a relative term of course. My experience of the X1800XL
is that it is no slouch.

Actually, scrub that. I just read the following at the enquirer.net

"R520, Radeon X1800XT has a massive *dual slot cooler* and the air
coming from it turns out to be the hottest that we ever experienced.
Nevertheless, the card can be heavily overclocked and it turned to be
very stable during all of our testing."

So I guess that makes the X1800XL the fastest single slot card.

I have yet to see any X1900 single slot.

X1800XL

Be careful, though, for the single-slot cooler is quite overworked. Do not
expect it to cool properly if the fan is jammed right against the case
sidewall.

Thanks. That seems odd. Throw more crap on a card, and it requires less
cooling than one without it. Go figure.
