Fast Forward Sound

When I play any sound file, everything plays in fast forward. It also says that there is a problem with my sound device. PLEASE HELP!

I have that problem once, it was because i had not installed any audio
codecs on the machine. You can download and install free audio codecs from
this link:-

I've seen this problem on a few machines, where the wrong driver was
used. Ac'97 audio in particular, has a thing where a wide range of
similar drivers will install, but just not work right.


Go to the vendor of your computer (for name brands such as Dell and
HP), or motherboard (machine was bought from a local shop, or was a
home build, and has integrated audio) Or the vendor of your sound
card, if it's separate.
