Hello...

I don't know if I mentioned a while back, but I went to F'boro airshow this year.

Didn't get chance really to do the photo's so i've been going through them over the past few days...

Here are some of my favourites:

1) Winglet of the house livery Airbus A380

2) Surreal shot of the A380 in flight

3) F18 Just after touching down

4) Some really cool acrobatic planes...

5) The mighty Avro Vulcan, having just touched down.

I've ordered the one of the wing in 20x16 poster print to be framed. Hopefully it will arrive on Friday.

This, for some people, is probably the LAST thing they ever see.

Thats all folks, hope you enjoyed them.

I should have gotten round to going through them much sooner, but I just didn't get round to it.

Hopefully by the time the next F'boro comes round, I'll have a D90 ;)

Your critique is much appreciated - let me know what you think!

The Red Arrows ones are superb Chris, enjoyed the pics greatly, thanks for sharing

It was lovely to see the Catalina; and as Rush said, the Red Arrows are amazing... quite scary to see how close they get! Some really good shots there Chris, thanks for posting them

Euro fighter with full afterburner on taking off is good as is the black & white picture of The Red Arrows.
And of course The Vulcan bomber who once recored the longest bombing mission during the Falklands War.
In fact they are all good!:thumb:

Thanks :)

The Vulcan was mighty impressive. The sound of the Rolls Royce engines when it was rolling...!!!

The a380 is awesome...heres a link for crosswind landing...

Here

sorry for crahing Chris ..

Avro Vulcan is awesome....Luv the noise it makes...Euro fighter comes not to far behind...Then the Apache Helichopter....Fecking awesome..Great pics by the way Chris....Bit of Photoshop and you can get rid of the heads that got in yer way....

Love those pics Chris, the Vulcan and Catalina ones especially :thumb:

Had a chance to go there this year to do a tech demo on some autostereoscopic work, but it would have involved crazy hours and no time at all to see the aircraft (the main reason for going!!!). Going to try and go as a visitor next year though

Which aircraft was your favorite up close?
