I can run this in default mode without a problem. If I attempt to make any
optional video settings, medium or high, within the game it will load the
program to a point (the little bar thingy goes to within a 1/2 inch of the
end), stop and then the computer reboots itself.

P4 2gig, 512rdram, Asus P4T-E, Radeon (built by) 9600Pro, Seagate
120gig-7200rpm HD, Viewsonic 17" at 1024X768-32/85hz, Cat 4.3 (does same
with 3.7s and 3.10s), SB Live!.

Ideas?

I had a similar problem, although it did work initially it
then started hanging just at the end. Against principle I
uninstalled & reinstalled the demo & it worked again.

Option 2 is buy the full game, I wasn't convinced I'd like it
from the demos, but it came out on payday so I thought I'd
give it a go. Subjectivley for me it's much better than the
demos show it to be.

I can't get this to work at all. It loads about 5% and then stops. I
have to do a hard reset. AA is turned off.

9800SE card.

Has anyone got it to work?

Does the full game have these problems?

Yes the problem posts seem to be in the minority, both here &
in the comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.action newsgroup I read.

What's the rest of your system like?

Can't say if you'll have the problems or not, but having said
that the full game seems even more polished than the demo
releases, e.g. one of the graphics settings would never stick
to high for me in the demo, but does in the full game,
everything on high to very high & yet to experience a
slowdown.

I played the demo and let the game decide what the graphics options should
be and had no problems (I have a 9600). The first time I messed with the
graphics options ( I turned something from "Low" to medium) it shut down my
PC within a minute or two.

The full game may have addressed some stability issues, but I think it's
just a beast on the graphics. As good as it looks with my card, I'd love to
see how it looks with everything on "Very High".
