I don't know if you missed my question
but just in case you did...

Do you know if Windows Mail will be killed
off by the forthcoming new Mail client or
is it an additional option?

Sorry, I have no idea.

Cheers anyway.

I'm very comfortable with WinMail now
and would be lothe to lose it.

M$ take note.

Actually, Windows Mail is quite good. The only reason I don't use it is
that there is no support for OpenPGP.

I looked at Windows Live Mail Desktop and found that it had no
additional benefit as an email client. Of course, you can change its
window color <sarcasm>so I am sure a lot of people will find it makes
their email better</sarcasm>.

A bummer... like Thunderbird missing Comb & Decod...
There always seems to be one, different, thing missing from all apps.

Death by a thousand "enhancements."

That would be funny if it weren't so true.

Are you making fun of all those IncrediMail enthusiasts? ;-)

I like Windows Mail too, it's easy to use and easy on the eyes. Only
discrepancy I have is with their Contacts which does not auto complete when
I type out names. Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not.
