Fan control on PS Remarks.

I couldn't get Antec so I replaced my 450W ps with 'UltraPower' 550W
http://www.mdmm.com/products/techietoyz/power-ultrapower.asp nice but when
do I use the fan control and why? I can't find any real info on using this
control and am just wondering if keeping it turned down all the time would
be bad.

It looks like a rebadged Thermaltake, which is a rebadged Sirtec.
Depends on what fan's inside, how low you can adjust it, what that
resulting flow rate is. Turn it up as high as tolerable (your personal
preference, per noise level), as the lifespan may have a direct
relationship to the temp, at least at the lowest airflow rates.
