question: Since I purchased and installed Account Logon
my Microsoft AntiSpyware (former Giant) program is
detecting a "Possible Host File Hijacker" and it removes
it but it keeps appearing again and again.
I have noticed that, aqccording to the info provided by
the AntiSpyware, the File (or host) that have been re-
directed (or changed) is always a Host (or file) that
Account Logon has redirected when it signs on
automatically to some places that I have set it to do so.
I don't have an explanation for this but it could be a
bug. I contacted Account Logon and they say that they
don't know why Microsoft AntiSpyware is detecting Account
Logon as a "Possible Host File Hijacker" since they are
not any kind of malware or spyware. If any of you has
Account Logon (it is a software that I use to log on
automatically to many websites and my bank account etc.
very good software) I would like to know if you have
experienced this problem with Microsoft AntiSpyware.

You might ask the vendor--i.e. the Account Logon folks--to get in touch with
Microsoft via this URL:

http://www.spynet.com/falsepositive.aspx

Although not branded Microsoft, this is the correct URL for a vendor to
dispute a product listing as spyware. This particular detection area is
rather a hot button--so I would hope they would get a quick response on what
action they should advise their users to take.
