I have a folder under Favorites called My Favorites. MS
Antispyware detects this folder as iLookup.GlobalWebSearch
Browser Modifier To keep the folder, I had to set it to
ignore.

how possibly remove spyware and unwanted browser helper objects in Windows,
Internet Explorer with Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at Start Up;

Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents

and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;

Run the scan while in safe mode;

If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any

BHO's that you don't recognize.

FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

What I should have said is that I created a folder named
My Favorites in the Favorites folder. It is on my work
computer so I keep personal favorites in there. I was
useing Spybot and Adware, but my company requested we stop
using those and use Microsoft's Antispyware. Since I
installed the software, the My Favorites kept
disappearing. I would have to put it back about once per
week. Then I read someones post regarding folders
disappearing in favorites on CNET forums.

forumID=5&threadID=62180&messageID=738696 I put the
folder back and ran MS Antispyware, it detected the folder
as 'iLookup.GlobalWebSearch Browser Modifier' and asked if
ia wanted to remove it. This time, since I was paying
attention, I told the software to ignore it.
