I am getting 40 fake emails a day. I am using Outlook
2002, my Norton AV descriptions are uptodate, office is
uptodate, w2K uptodate. I have make rules until I'm blue
in the face , but doesn't work. Any ideas? Most of them
are from Microsoft, but not all of them. They have
attachments with viruses which my norton catches. It is
such a nusance, am ready to change my email address. The
email server is at work and no one else on the server is
having a problem.

If you posted a message to a public news group using your real e-mail
address, then your address was harvested for use with the Swen virus. There
is nothing you can do except to use rules to filter on words like Virus,
Inet, Taste, M$, etc.

I have received over 5000 messages and autoresponders from AV companies. It
is a full time job made easier by the web interface for my news group
address.
