hello,
i think you have to check following check list.
1.did created entry for Forward lookup zone and reverse
lookup zone in DNS.
2.did you entered the DNS IP address in TCP/IP properties.

Let me know what is the result
vamsi.

Thanks for reply Dear Vamsi,
I have created Entries only in Forward lookup
zones, Not in reverse lookup zone
Yes I entered DNS IP in TCP/IP as 192.168.0.1
default gateway 192.16.0.1 subnet mask 255.255.255.0

Kindly let me know, Why I have to create entries in
reverse looup zones ?

Awaits your soonest reply,

Amber Michael

As you know forwardlookup zone is for resolving
URL to IP address. simillarly Reverse lookup zone is for
resolving IP address to URL.it is preferable to use
reverse lookup zone also because in some cases web
application will use only the URL, in such cases reverse
lookup zone will be helpful to get the URL from IP address.
even I also not an expert but it is a traditional
way to have the reverse lookup zone which will solve most
of problems. if you are maintaining a DNS then i think it
is prefered to use Reverse lookup zone also.
Sorry for icomplete explanation, this is only up to my
knowledge.
One more thing you have to check is your Internet
Sevice Manager (Internet Information Server(IIS))
configuration.
Thank you
vamsi
